ESTABLISH A SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships are the heartbeat of the Foundation. Our donors believe in assisting local students to reach their academic dreams through support of annual or endowed scholarships.
Financial access to higher education has become increasingly difficult as state funding diminishes, tuition escalates, and the costs of childcare, textbooks, transportation, and living expenses make it challenging for many to attend college. This makes CCC Foundation’s work to build scholarship funds vitally important. Many students are working one or more jobs while balancing family, community, volunteer, and personal commitments at the same time they are attending CCC.
As an institution that strives to provide affordable education, CCC tuition is one of the most reasonably priced community colleges in the state of Oregon. However, despite being more affordable than most, more students than ever are applying for financial aid. Last year, Clackamas Community College Foundation provided hundreds of scholarships, nearly $1,000,000 in 2023-24, to reduce the financial burdens for our college students.

Annual Scholarships
Some individuals and clubs prefer to fund a scholarship each year. An annual scholarship could be funded by an individual or organization with a donation anywhere between $1,000 & $4,000. This scholarship continues to be awarded as long as funds are received each year.

Endowed Scholarships
An endowment is a legacy gift established to provide scholarships and grants to students in perpetuity. Endowments support specific academic areas throughout the campus. Individuals and groups have also established memorial endowments remembering family and community members. If you want to contribute to any of these named funds, we can work with you to match your interests with an established Endowment.
